University of Ilorin was 39th on the list, University of Ibadan 40th and Obafemi Awolowo University was 42nd in the top 100. University of Capetown South Africa was the number 1 university in Africa. The ranking is based on the web popularity of each university.
This is not good news by any means, Nigeria should have at least two universities in the top 10 of any university ranking in Africa if not for the corruption and misguided priorities of our leaders.
