A police officer with the Michika divisional headquarters of the Adamawa state police command shot and wounded two fellow officers before being shot dead by men of the Anti-robbery squad of the Adamawa police - Operation Tsaro.
The officer Abba Gana signed for his duty rifle this morning around 7am this morning and turned around and shot two of his fellow officers who are presently receiving treatment in hospital. He was reported to have been shot dead while resisting arrest.
Spokesperson of the police command, Muhammed Ibrahim confirmed the accident.
