NIGERIA PURCHASES 200 EXOTIC VEHICLES FOR AFRICAN FIRST LADIES SUMMIT

Sources have alleged that the Federal Government is taking delivery of 200 exotic vehicles for the hosting of the 7th African First ladies for peace mission Summit being held in Abuja on the 24th to 27th of July 2012. Dame Patience Jonathan is the convener of the summit themed ''The African woman : A voice for peace''. The cars include 80 BMW X3 and X5 series which retail around 13.5 million each and 120 different models Honda, Jaguar and others.
The vehicles were said to have been supplied by Coscharis motors and 180 units had been delivered to the Presidential Villa as at Saturday.
The whole idea of throwing mind boggling amounts of money away hosting a peace summit using the platform of the office of the first lady which is not recognized by the Nigerian constitution is just plain ridiculous. Which then begs the question - what do African first ladies know about peace? Are they not the same women married to the Despots holding Africa to ransom? Are they not the women married to the men embezzling the commonwealth of the people and diverting said funds to accounts overseas? Are their husbands not the cause of lack of peace in Africa? With the exception of a few.
What a waste of time and resources.
