ABUJA ROAD NAMED AFTER PATIENCE JONATHAN

A road in the Federal capital territory, linking the Police officers wives association (DEPOWA) office with the Shehu Musa Yar'adua Barracks in Abuja has been named after Dame Patience Jonathan.
The road was constructed by the association to ameliorate the hardship caused to the occupants of the Barracks by the bad condition of the road. Mrs Jonathan commissioned the road and lauded the members of the association saying ''the gesture will provide an evidence of the capability of our women to initiate and execute projects and programmes critical and beneficial to the well-being of our nation''.
