RE- JONATHAN IMPEACHMENT - CAN THE HOUSE OF REPS EVER MEAN WELL FOR NIGERIANS

They are defending their stand on the impeachment threat against the President for not implementing fully the capital expenditure part of the 2012 budget.  According to them the recurrent part of the budget is judiciously complied with but on the average only about 30% of the capital budget is utilised. They say they are doing it for the good of Nigerians, question is when did they ever do anything good for Nigerians. If they are really serious about doing good they should start by slashing their irresponsible salaries.
When the House of representatives start any of their populist moves on behalf of the Nigerian people, we all know we should smell a rat. After all what was the outcome of their most recent oil subsidy shenanigans - Faroukgate.
I think it's either one of three things and i'm sure a lot of people have their own theories.
- They have to justify the humongous irresponsible salaries and allowances being paid to them at the expense of the Nigerian people. At least you hear them fight on your behalf once in awhile, even if nothing ever comes out of it.
- They are trying to blackmail the President to send some Ghana must go bags (filled with you know what) their way so they can keep quiet.
- they want to bully the president into utilising the capital budget fully so there would be contracts galore in Abuja which they would obviously benefit handsomely from. Its obvious that the re-current expenditure budget has been so well padded and inflated that the president probably does not care about the wahala of trying to outsmart his finance and economic planning Hawk, Madam Ngozi, who keeps quite a tight rein on expenditure.
