GUNMAN OPENS FIRE ON MOVIE GOERS - KILLS 14, INJURES 50

A gunman opened fire on unsuspecting movie goers at a showing of Batman - ''The dark knight rises'' at a movie theater in Colorado, USA, killing 14 people and injuring about 50. Ten victims died immediately while four more died in hospital. The wounded victims were taken to local hospitals around the vicinity of the shooting for treatment. The suspect, was arrested by law enforcement and is presently in custody. At the time of the arrest, the suspect speculated to be a young male, in his twenties was wearing a bullet proof vest and had in his possession a rifle, two handguns and some sort of smoke device. The shooting occured around 12.30am catching victims completely unawares.
