RITA DOMINIC IS THE ''IT'' ACTRESS FOR 2012

Rita is on fire! She won AMAA's best actress of the year beating out Nse Ikpe Etim, Yvonne Okoro, Ama.K.Abebrese and Uche Jombo. She has been pretty busy this year shooting two new movies I hear are going to be phenomenal. ''The meeting'' which was co-produced by Rita and Mildred Okwo and directed by Mildred is about a corporate executive on a one day business trip to Abuja and how he finds himself at the mercy of political patronage, bureacratic red tape and the yearnings of his heart. The movie stars Rita Dominic, Nse ikpe Etim, Kate Henshaw, Basorge Tariah, Chinedu Ikedieze, Femi Jacobs and Linda Ejiofor.

''The Lions of 76'' is an ambitious Nollywood project which tells the story of the 1976 coup and the assasination of the Head of state,Gen Muritala Muhammed. Directed by award winning director Izu Ojukwu (Sitanda, White waters, Cindy's notes) starring Rita and Ramsey Noah as the male lead.
