HOUSE OF REP MEMBER NARROWLY ESCAPES LYNCHING

Honourable Sani Doruwa of the ANPP representing Maru/Bungudu costituency, missed a lynching by irate youths in Zamfara state. The youths, numbering about a hundred attacked the house of representative member because of his perceived unavailability in his constituency, He was attending the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected Maru local government council chairman, his vice and ten new councilors over the weekend at the council conference hall, when he was descended on by the angry mob, luckily he was saved by the intervention of policemen and soldiers present at the gathering. The aggrieved youths claimed that Hon Doruwa had been absent from his constituency since he had been elected 14 months ago and they had not seen or felt the dividends of electing him into office.
Abuja is obviously a lot more fun than Zamfara, especially with the Sharia law and all. So you can't really blame the honourable member for not ''showing face'' too often
