TOLL GATES TO BE RE-INTRODUCED ON FEDERAL ROADS

Chairman of the Federal road maintenance agency (FERMA) Ezekiel Adeniji has said the Federal government will soon re-introduce tolling on federal roads across the country. Ha explained that the move will generate revenue to maintain the roads and create jobs for the youths in the communities along the expressway. Mr Adeniji said '' tolling is universal for revenue generation and job creation.....'', he went further to say '' if you are paying for water, electricity and communication, why can't you pay for good roads''. No specific date has been announced for the re-introduction of the toll gates.
Small correction, Mr Adeniji the roads are not ''good'', they are death traps.

REPAIR OF 3RD MAINLAND BRIDGE POSTPONED INDEFINITELY

Hurrraaaaaay! the proposed repair of 3rd mainland bridge by the Federal road maintenance agency (FERMA) has been post-poned indefinitely. i can hear the sighs of relief from where I sit. The last repair exercise was one of the most hellish experience Lagosians have ever been put through.
