The Lagos state commissioner of transport Mr Kayode Opeifa has said that there would be a completediversion of traffic from the 3rd mainland bridge on July 29th and August 5th from 6am to 12 midnight on both days.
The Commissioner explained that the blockage was necessary to enable the concrete casting of the three expansion joints currently under repair. He said '' the casting and drying process needs zero vibration, hence the complete diversion of vehicular traffic away from the bridge from Oworonshoki end to the Adeniji Adele end. ''during the diversion motorists inward Lagos island and Ikeja would be restricted from having access to the bridge from 6am to 12 midnight.
