AFRINOLLY HITS HALF A MILLION DOWNLOADS

Afrinolly the mobile phone App for fans of Nigerian movie industry - Nollywood has had half a million downloads in its ten months of operation. The Afrinolly team have been doing great things! the App was one of the three winners of the Google android developer challenge in Sub saharan Africa, winning a cash prize of $25,000. The team took winning a step further when they partnered with MTN to bring Afrinolly to its huge base of subscribers. MTN added  the app as one of it's Value added services giving it's subscribers the opportunity to download and enjoy the Nollywood experience.

The top Nigerian acts are in Ghana for the second edition of the ''Ghana meets Nigeria'' concert . They will be up against rival Ghanaian superstars 4x4, Kaakie, Guru, Kwaw Kesse, Keche, R2Bees, Chemphe, Bino and Sala. The organisers of the concert, Empire entertainment maintain that the concert is aimed at fostering unity between Nigeria and Ghana and celebrating the similarities in our cultire and music.
