The Federal government in a statement signed by the Permanent secretary of the Ministry of Interior Abba Moro declared Monday August 20th and Tuesday August 21st public holidays for the Eid -el-Fitri celebration. The celebrations mark the end of the one month fasting period for adherents of the Islamic faith. Yepeeeeeeee it's going to be a long weekend. Plenty of ram meat too!
