Nigeria is Africa's number 1 Champagne consumer according to Jeune Afrique. a Paris based Magazine. Rich Nigerians guzzled 593,000 bottles of bubbly in 2010, way more than South Africa by a whole 50%, yet they are a richer country. The irony of it is that about 60 % of us live in absolute poverty! but we won't let a few hungry people spoil our fun. We go pop champagne.
