CHINA SENDS IT'S FIRST FEMALE ASTRONAUT INTO SPACE

Liu Yang a 34yr old female Airforce pilot joined Jing Haipeng and Liu Wang on the Shenzou-9 spacecraft which was launched saturday at 6.37pm to work on a temporary space station. The space-craft will dock with Chin's orbiting space laboratory making the country the third Nation to complete a manned space docking, the first two are America and Russia. Liu was chosen because of her strong flying record and mental toughness.
