The son of Afro-beat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti and fearless social and political critic, Femi's life is a testament to rising above limits and living life purposefully. He was one of the most visible faces of the Occupy Nigeria movement against the fuel subsidy removal and is very vocal about the corruption and excesses of the Nigerian government. Formerly married to Funke, their union produced a son, Made, a budding talent who sometimes shares the stage with his father. He sang at the opening of the South African world cup 2010 and toured with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in 2011.Femi is a thrice nominated Grammy Artiste in the world music category.
